From the Library...Pride and Prejudice

Radio Riel is proud to present a special program on Saturday, February 23 of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" in support of the Caledon Library's "The Complete Jane" program. We will play the complete audiobook all day.

From the Library Militant website: "Beginning January 13, PBS will air film versions of each of Miss Jane Austen's novels on Sundays through April. (For information, see http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/austen/ ) You are invited to join an informal discussion of the films and the novels, the Monday evenings following, at 6 p.m. SLT at The Whitehorn Library in Caledon. Radio Riel produces this program in conjunction with the Caledon Library in Second Life. Today's book originates from the music library of Gabrielle Riel.

This is a particularly magnificent reading of Pride & Prejudice from Librivox, and well up to commercial standards. Highly recommended.
