From the Library... Jane Austen Special Program
Radio Riel is proud to present a special program of Jane Austen's "Persuasion", as well as music of Jane Austen's time and some of the recent film scores to Austen movies, in support of the Caledon Library's "The Complete Jane" program.

This is awesome! I found this through Moxie Grumby, and I am delighted about all the Jane Austen fun.
That said, I'm not digging the voice talent they used for Persuasion. I'll see if I can get past it.

I agree with you - some of the Librivox "readers" are better than others, but that is to be expected as Librivox is 100% volunteer.
The benefit to Librivox? They are 100% public domain. :-) It's wonderful having the resource and knowing that the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) can't come after us.
